The Match Wizard

Four steps through a match, all on our own bank of played matches and none on the odds: the table (rank against rank, block against block), then home and away form, then goals and WHEN they come, then the bookies’ favourite markets — overs, both-teams-to-score and the two-goal lead behind the 2UP offer.

You will not see a bookmaker’s price until your appraisal is made. The wizard prices the match itself at the end — a plain goals model, honest about its limits — and only then does the market arrive, beside the view you built, framed as agreement or disagreement.

Data as at 00:02. Early in a season every figure dips into last season’s campaign and says so. League matches only — a cup tie has no table to stand on and can settle after extra time. Nothing here is a tip or a selection, and nothing places or suggests a bet.
