Ian Wright was left furious by Arsenal’s defeat by West Ham – and his apoplectic reaction was captured in full by fellow pundit Jermaine Jenas.

Wright’s former club fell to a 1-0 defeat at the London Stadium through Declan Rice’s second-half strike.

Watching in a viewing room at the Match Of The Day studios, Jenas couldn’t contain himself as Wright walked into the room to discover the Gunners had fallen behind.

Knowing the former England international was about to enter the room, Jenas was waiting ready to film his response to Rice’s goal.

Wright said: ‘Declan Rice got it? S***!’

Jenas, also visible in the video, struggled to control his laughter as Wright realised he was being filmed and jokingly ordered his colleague to stop filming.

Wright walked off camera laughing himself as Jenas ended the video by admitting he had to film the hilarious reaction.

Rice’s first senior goal dealt a blow to fifth-placed Arsenal’s chances of making the top four as it left them three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Manchester United, in sixth, could move level on points with the Gunners if they beat Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.

Teenager Rice’s strike was assisted by former Arsenal winger Samir Nasri, making his first Premier League appearance since August 2016.

It helped the Hammers go level on points with Leicester in seventh place – 10 behind their beaten London rivals.
